Short history
Destinées is an association "Law 1901" whose headquarters are based in Meurthe-et-Moselle (54).
The Association was created in June 2002 by submitting its statute to the Sous-préfecture de Toul.
In February 2003 the Association receives from the Meurthe-et-Moselle Departmental Council, security clearance and authorisation to exercise as Authorised accredited body for the placement of minors under the age of 15 with families who have an authorisation.
In May 2004, by ministerial order, Destinées is acccredited to the adoption or placement with a view to adoption of minor children of fifteen years from Vietnam.
In October 2004, Destinées obtains the activity licence by the Vietnamese authorities.
In April 2005 the first adoptions are realised in North Vietnam.
In October 2009 the Vietnamese authorities renewed the activity licence of Destinées.
In July 2011, the General Council of M-&-M renewed the empowerment and licensing of Destinées.
In February 2012, the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam renewed the activity licence of Destinées.
In November 2014, Destinées is authorised by order of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the placement for adoption of minor children of fifteen years originating from Slovakia.
In November 2015, the Slovak Central authority, the CIPC, attached to the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, supports Destinées following the signature of the Agreement with France.
In September 2017, the first adoptions are made in Eastern Slovakia.
